Unlike other fabrics woven on a loom with weft and warp, Jersey is actually a stocking stitch fabric, obtained from any textile fibre. This process ensures a particulary light elastic soft fabric, making it ideal for the creation of men's shirts with an exceptional fit and comfort. Historically, Jeresey was used by fishermen on the English island of the same name in the nineteeth century.
